Shrek and advertising

Two weeks ago, Shrek the Third had the best opening weekend ever for an animated movie. One of the reasons for this is the large marketing machine of Dreamworks. Here are some examples:

• Through the intensive cooperation between Dreamworks and HP, the computer builder has hired Princess Fiona to promote the HP laptop with the slogan: “The computer is personal again”

• The cooperation between Shrek & McDonalds
• Dodge Caravan commercial (Click more for these and more ads)

• Shrek Farm Frites (Dutch)

• M&M commercial

• Misty Softdrink

• Yetube is a channel on Youtube where you can watch more clips
