Jerry Seinfeld is the brain behind the new Dreamworks Animations production called Bee Movie. The popular stand-up comedian got the idea on a lazy Sunday afternoon when he heard – you guessed it- a buzzing bee. The next day he had lunch with Steven Spielberg and the deal was made.
Seinfeld himself plays the role of Barry B. Benson: a recently graduated bee who comes to the scary realization that he has to spend his whole life inside the bee hive. The boring prospect of making nothing else but honey scares him and it doesn’t take him long to search his freedom. Once outside a beautiful world awaits him and he has an interesting meeting with a New York City florist called Vanessa. She tells him that humans steal all the honey from the bees for the sole purpose of consumption. Barry is enraged by this idea and sues the entire human race on charges of theft. But maybe that isn’t such a good idea after all…
You’ll also hear these voices buzzing by: Renée Zellweger, Chris Rock, Matthew Broderick, John Goodman, Oprah Winfrey, Eddie Izzard and Larry King. The movie will be released on November 2nd in the US and December 14th 2007 in the UK. Click ‘read more’ for more trailers.

American Dog, the movie about a tv-show superdog, has recently been renamed to the main character: Bolt. The US releasedate has also been moved from Independence Day, 4th Of July, to November 26th 2008. I guess the American emphasis isn’t that big any more in this movie.

Wallace and Gromit, the best known clay creatures from Aardman, also like to make some extra money. In these three commercials you’ll see the inseparable duo drinking tea, eating crackers and trying out the new Kangoo car. Thanks to the no-boundaries policy of Ebay, I also have the pleasure of drinking my cup of tea from the Gromit tea mug and see his nose turn red.

Bolt is the title of a new Disney Animation movie directed by Chris Williams, the man behind The Emperor’s New Groove and Mulan.
Bolt is a famous television dog who’s got everything he wants in Hollywood. He lives on the set of his television show “American Dog” in which he plays the role of a superdog. Together with the twelve year old Penny he fights criminality. With his superpowers Bolt can for example freeze the criminals with one bark.
However Bolt has got one big problem: nobody has ever told him that he is not really a superdog. The walls where he jumps through on the set are made of cardboard and Penny is just an actress who gets paid to be his best friend. When everyone goes home in the evening, Bolt stays in his known world on the set.
Until one day the dog, by a clumsy mistake, finds himself in a UPS box with destination New York. That far away from home Bolt decides to find his way back using his superpowers. The superhero clearly needs some help to reach his destination. Luckily he meets Mr. Kittens and the hamster Rino, a big fan of his tv-show ”American Dog”. On the road Bolt soon realises his superpowers aren’t that super after all…(Source: Jim Hill)
